The KOALA splash-proof series is a complete set of sockets and surface mounted fittings colloquially known as hermetics. Splash proof at IP44 level and a wide range of colors makes it perfectly suited for assembly, wherever unfavorable conditions prevail, eg garages, gazebos, production halls, swimming pools or bathrooms. All connectors are available with and without backlight, the assembly is made easier by precision quick couplers. The sockets have screw terminals, the grounding is in the classic version with the pin and Schuko. Sockets in each color have a flip-flap in the product color or a transparent smoke option, they are available in single and double versions. The products have dust protection packaging, adapted to euro-hangers.

The use of a switch can eliminate the need for redundant integrated circuits in security-critical applications or increase reliability in security-critical applications when a redundant sensor is required.

- The switch has been designed for safety systems and is made of high quality components.
- The device functions as a normal Hall switch (the output is switched on or off in the presence of a sufficiently strong magnetic field, because the field is degraded or the intensity is sufficiently reduced).
- If the diagnostic pin is pulled high, the current flows through the coils and generates a magnetic field.
The proximity of the coil to the Hall element allows the element to detect the field generated by the coil.
- The component also sends a PWM signal, which confirms that the component correctly detects the internally generated magnetic field.
