The module has a range of 10 m and is easily set via AT commands and can be programmed both as master and slave.
The module allows you to transform an UART USART port most commonly known as a serial in a Bluetooth port, generally with a Serial Port Profile (SPP) profile, thus becoming a serial over Bluetooth.
The device is used to communicate a microprocessor (MCU), for example, a standard processor mounted on Arduino cards with the outside world, where the outside world can be a Smartphone, a Personal Computer, or other device with a connection Bluetooth.
The module can be found either as a simple component or already mounted on a breakout card.

Minimum dimension (per module only) 28 x 15 x 2.35 mm
Bluetooth version: v 2.0 + EDR
Operating frequency: 2.4GHz ISM band
Onboard processor: CSR Bluecore4
Recommended power supply voltage: 3.3 V 50mA
The current required for coupling is about 30/40 mA while in communication phase is about 8 mA
Possible configurable serial speeds: 4800, 9600, 19200, 38400, 57600, 115200, 234000, 460800, 921600, 1382400 bps
The HC Bluetooth module is class 2 (power in mW 2.5, dBm 4 power, about 10 meters distance)

The Bluetooth HC05 module is one of the most popular modules used for RF communications, easy to implement in your projects.
