Cronos Anti-Mold 50 is a compact 50-watt infrared panel designed for spot heating and dehumidifying damp areas of walls—such as corners, spaces behind furniture, and walls in basements or laundry rooms. It does not heat the entire room; it heats the specific section of the wall it is aimed at. You can hang it on the wall or place it on the included stands.
WHAT IT’S FOR—AND WHAT IT’S NOT FOR
A cold corner, the wall behind a closet, or a section of wall in the basement or laundry room where moisture keeps building up. The Cronos Anti-Mold 50 heating panel heats exactly that section of the wall, rather than raising the temperature of the entire room. A warm wall cools down more slowly, and water vapor is less likely to condense on it—and it is precisely this condensed vapor that creates the conditions in which mold thrives.
This is not a room heater. 50 W will not heat a room, and that is not its purpose.
It is also not a fungicide. The panel helps dry the surface and reduces conditions conducive to mold growth, but it does not remove existing mold or fix the cause of the moisture. If the water is coming from a leaky gutter, cracked insulation, or capillary action, you must first eliminate the source.

HOW IT HEATS
The panel emits heat in two forms at once: as infrared radiation from the front and back surfaces—which is directed straight at the wall—and as convective heat rising upward. That is why it works most effectively when mounted on the wall directly below the area to be dried.
The panel’s surface reaches 55–75°C. The device is small—60x15 cm and 3 cm thick—and weighs less than two kilograms.
CONTROL: ON/OFF SWITCH ON THE CORD
Anti-Mold is a simple device by design—it has an on/off switch on the cord and nothing else. No thermostat, no app, no display. You plug it into an outlet, and it heats until you turn it off.
You can set it to operate in cycles using an external timer (not included). It’s worth knowing this before you buy, because the recommended method of use (continuous operation until dry, then short cycles) relies on it.

WHERE AND HOW TO INSTALL IT
You can hang the panel on the wall—screws and anchors are included—or place it on the two attachable legs that are also included. The legs are designed for temporary use, so you can easily move the panel to wherever the problem arises.
When mounting on the wall, leave at least a 2-cm gap from the wall—do not place it any closer, even though the closer it is, the more effective it is. The panel needs this gap to dissipate heat through its back surface as well.
Keep curtains, furniture, bedding, and other flammable materials at least 1 meter away from the front of the panel and away from its sides and back. Do not cover it or run the power cord under a rug. Plug it into a grounded outlet and do not leave the device turned on unattended.
The heating panel is durable, but it has its limits—avoid strong impacts during installation and when moving it.
