HDMI (High Definition Multimedia Interface) ist eine hochauflösende Multimedia-Schnittstelle. Dabei handelt es sich um eine digitale Schnittstelle für Audio- und Videosignale, die einen kompletten Datenstrom ohne Komprimierung übertragen kann. HDMI ermöglicht den Anschluss aller standardkompatiblen Audio- und Videogeräte.
