Die Maclean MCTV-102 Antenne ist eine Universalantenne für den Empfang von analogen und digitalen DVB-T2 HEVC Fernsehprogrammen.
Der Vorteil der Antenne liegt in den geringen Abmessungen und dem geringen Gewicht, wodurch sie an vielen Orten (Dach, Balkon, Fenster), aber auch an mobilen Objekten (Yacht, Auto) montiert werden kann.
Das luftdichte Gehäuse ermöglicht den Einsatz bei allen Wetterbedingungen.

Ein sehr wichtiger Vorteil der MCTV-102 Antenne ist ihre omnidirektionale (horizontale) Richtcharakteristik, was in der Praxis bedeutet, dass sie nicht speziell auf den Sender ausgerichtet werden muss. Außerdem ist die Antenne mit einem LTE-Filter ausgestattet, der Störungen aus den Mobilfunknetzen eliminiert, so dass sie ein störungsfreies Signal empfängt.
Die Stromversorgung der Antenne erfolgt über ein Koaxialkabel, das das verstärkte Signal an den Empfänger weiterleitet. Mit Hilfe von verlustarmen passiven Signalsplittern können mehrere Empfänger gleichzeitig angeschlossen werden. Für die Anschlüsse ist ein Koaxialkabel mit einem Wellenwiderstand von 75 Ohm und einem Außendurchmesser von 6 mm zu verwenden.
