The TECH-MED TM-PX30 pulse oximeter provides the highest clinical accuracy in measuring blood oxygen saturation and heart rate; it is a medical device approved for use in healthcare facilities. The reliability of its measurements has been confirmed in clinical trials.

The TM-PX30 pulse oximeter is designed to measure the percentage of oxygenated hemoglobin relative to total hemoglobin. Noninvasive measurement of arterial blood oxygen saturation is obtained by directing red and infrared light through pulsating blood vessels. The pulsating arterioles in the path of the light beam cause a change in the amount of light detected by the photodiode. The pulse oximeter determines arterial blood oxygen saturation by measuring the absorption of red and infrared light.

The TM-PX30 pulse oximeter is indicated for the noninvasive monitoring of arterial blood oxygen saturation (SpO2) and heart rate, as measured by the SpO2 sensor. It can be used for spot-check monitoring at home, in clinics, and in hospitals.
