Dieses Seil ist für die Sicherung und den Schutz bei evtl. Stürzen aus vertikalen Höhen bestimmt. Der Anker kann frei auf der Leine gleiten und wird sich bei einem plötzlichen Ruck - z.B. im Fall eines unerhoften Sturzes - selbstständig blockieren und Ihren Fall somit sicher auffangen.
Die Kraft des Sicherungsseils beträgt 15 kN und kann Belastungen von bis zu 100 kg ausgesetzt werden. Die Seillänge beträgt 10 Meter und verfügt über ein Durchmesser von 12 mm, welches auf der einen Seite mit einem Kunststoffgummi und auf der anderen Seite mit einer genähten Schlaufe versehen ist.
Das Auffanggerät bzw, Falldämpfer ist am Seil montiert und nicht abnehmbar. Das Seil ist gergestellt aus Polyamid, das Auffanggerät wiederum aus Edelstahl und erfüllt die europäische Norm [ EN 353-2:2002 ].
