The Blaupunkt MS49DAB is a micro system designed for users who want a single, universal device for listening to the radio and playing music. Its design is based on the proven solutions known from the MS40.2BT model, but the micro system has been supplemented with DAB+ digital radio and an extended antenna system, which has a real impact on reception quality.
This is a device that does not try to pretend to be studio-quality audio, but focuses on what is most important in everyday use: stability, functionality, and ease of use.

DAB+ AND FM RADIO
The DAB+ tuner allows you to receive digital radio stations without the noise and distortion typical of the FM band. The sound is clear and crisp, and the display shows information about the station and the current program. In practice, this means greater listening comfort, especially in places where the analog signal can be unstable.
For users who prefer classic radio, there is also FM PLL with RDS and 40 station presets, allowing both standards to operate in parallel.
EXTERNAL ANTENNA – THE ELEMENT THAT MAKES THE DIFFERENCE
The MS49DAB micro system comes with a telescopic antenna with a magnetic mount, which is no accident. The antenna can be placed outside the device housing, for example by a window, or even outside and attached to a metal window sill.
The 360° rotation and approximately 3-meter cable allow you to choose the best setting for local reception conditions. In practice, this translates into a significantly better signal for both DAB+ and FM, especially in apartments with more difficult locations.
