The 2 power level settings allow for an instantaneous power boost to the maximum. This quickly removes steam and unwanted cooking fumes or nitrogen dioxide produced when cooking on gas. Equally important is the positioning of the hood above the hob. The cooker hood should be suspended at least 65 cm above the electric hob and 70 cm above the gas hob.
Effective recirculation
If you cannot connect the cooker hood to the ducting leading outside, just use the recirculation function. The cooker hood is equipped with a metal grease filter that absorbs grease. In the recirculation mode, a carbon filter (not included) must be used additionally to absorb odours. The air is cleaned and blown back into the room.
Simple cleaning of the grease filter
It couldn't be simpler. Simply place the filter in the dishwasher and start the standard washing programme. If you prefer to wash by hand, use dishwashing detergent and water.
LED lighting
Environmentally friendly LEDs illuminate the hob perfectly. The main advantage is the high energy saving compared to traditional bulbs and a much longer lifetime.
