The AB CryptoBox 742HD Combo offers a wide range of connectors and multimedia features. Users have access to, among other things, HDMI, SCART, an S/PDIF optical audio output, an RS-232 port, an RJ-45 LAN port, and two USB 2.0 ports. The receiver also features a universal card reader and a CI slot for conditional access modules; according to distributor descriptions, the tuner’s software is compatible with select CI/CI+ modules from operators such as Canal+ prepaid and Polsat Box; however, compatibility should be verified on a case-by-case basis for each specific module and the current software version.
