ProMedix PR-9000  mide automáticamente la presión arterial y la frecuencia cardiaca de una manera rápida y fácil.
El dispositivo utiliza el método oscilométrico de medición de la presión arterial, lo que significa que el dispositivo detecta el movimiento de la sangre a través de la arteria del brazo y la convierte en una señal digital. Con este método de medición no es necesario el uso de un estetoscopio.
Le permite  un promedio de las últimas tres mediciones y cuenta con una memoria para 90 mediciones. Provee el promedio de las últimas 3 mediciones.
Para utilizarlo basta con tocar un botón y ver el resultado en la pantalla grande de LCD.
