El detector de lluvia es adecuado para trabajar con controladores de riego con una tensión máxima de 24 V CA, para evitar riegos innecesarios en tiempo lluvioso.
Se puede utilizar con la mayoría de los controladores de bajo voltaje de 24 V: GB6964C, GB6968C, GB6991C, GBK3504TR, GBK3506TR con conectores de tipo normalmente abiertos (NC).
El complemento es compatible con los controladores GB6980C y GB6981C. En el caso de controladores de 24V donde conectamos cables a terminales de tornillo, se debe cortar el enchufe para dejar al descubierto los cables.
El funcionamiento del controlador de 9 V GB6980C con un enchufe Mini-jack (solo versiones fabricadas después de 2017) es posible después de que el usuario haya agregado un enchufe Mini-jack 3.5mm (el cable no está incluido).
El detector no funcionará con los controles con la entrada del detector "normalmente abierto".
El detector funciona según el principio de un interruptor mecánico, que se enciende mediante espaciadores especialmente preparados, que crecen bajo la influencia de la humedad.
Durante la lluvia y algunas horas después, los contactos del controlador cambian de posición y permanecen abiertos.
Cambiar la posición de los contactos controla el funcionamiento del controlador de riego o directamente el funcionamiento de las válvulas e interrumpe el suministro de energía.
