Le chauffage au gaz est équipé d'une plaque de chauffe en céramique, dont l'efficacité est excellente, même lorsque les températures ambiantes sont basses. La puissance élevée de l'appareil (1,7 kW) garantit que la plaque de chauffe se réchauffe rapidement et que la céramique conserve la chaleur pendant longtemps. La consommation moyenne de gaz pendant le fonctionnement du chauffage au gaz (à une température ambiante de 20˚C) est d'environ 124 g/h. Cela signifie qu'une cartouche de gaz traditionnelle de 227 g devrait suffire pour environ 2 heures de fonctionnement continu. L'appareil peut être utilisé pratiquement toute l'année. Le fonctionnement de l'appareil est très simple et intuitif.

Le réchaud de voyage est activé au moyen d'un allumeur piézo intégré, qui produit lui-même l'étincelle et permet d'allumer l'appareil sans avoir besoin d'allumettes ou de briquet. Pour régler le niveau de température, un bouton spécial situé sur le côté du boîtier permet d'ajuster l'intensité de la chaleur en continu.
